Area Committees

Cube has established a network of Area Committees to give residents the chance to get involved in their local communities.  We have Area Committees in Wyndford, Dumbarton, Gorget and Broomhill.

These committees meet monthly to discuss local issues, highlight concerns and propose solutions to local problems.  The Committees also have a joint quarterly meeting with senior staff to share their thoughts and views on issues affecting their areas and the Association.

Each committee is made up of a chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, treasurer and a maximum of 16 other committee members.  Anyone over the age of 16 can apply, but only one member of each household can become an office bearer.

Committee members represent their local community, and can safeguard and promote local issues. Their role is very hands on as they actively promote and encourage activities which contribute and strengthen the community life.
