Salary £24,954 - £29,943 PA, pro rata to the contract duration
This post is temporary to cover Maternity leave and will last for 1 year or the return of the post holder, which ever is earliest.
The main purpose of this post is to assist the ICT Manager in the development and introduction of new business initiatives for continuous improvement of the ICT services. The postholder will be the main point of contact for staff in response to ICT support requests and will have responsibility for guiding these issues through to resolution and escalating problems where appropriate to third party suppliers. In addition, the post holder will have responsibility for maintaining, supporting and developing the organisations computer network with particular emphasis on user accounts, data storage and information security.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have experience of supporting network operating systems including Citrix Presentation Server and Windows Server 2003 & 2008. Have excellent desktop hardware and software troubleshooting skills to aid resolution of user support issues. Experience of supporting the Capita Open Housing management software (or similar) and production of reports using SQL or Hummingbird BI Query tools would be a distinct advantage.
