How Choice Based Lettings Works

• Your application is assessed and your banding awarded according to your housing need.
• Look at our advertised properties and decide which one you are interested in.
• Make a ‘bid’
• We will contact you if you have been successful

Registration Forms can be downloaded by clicking the link on the right or you can call at any of our offices where we will be happy to offer any help or advice you may want including translation services. The registration pack includes details of how the scheme works, how the ‘bands’ are awarded, where Cube has properties and the types and sizes of properties in each area.

Your application is assessed and prioritised on your housing needs, with registered applicants being placed in bands. These bands – Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze - correspond with your level of housing need and show your priority for housing. The registration pack includes information on how the bands are awarded.

The properties available to let are advertised fortnightly, on a Tuesday, on this web site also in the Evening Times newspaper and in all of our Housing Offices.

Registered applicants can ‘bid’ once they have chosen a property they wish to be considered for. The deadline for accepting ‘bids’ which, are notifications of interest only, being 12 noon on the Monday following the date of the advert.

A registered Cube Choice scheme member can make a (non-monetary) ‘bid’ on the property either via this web site, in person at one of our offices or by post by completing a bid coupon and returning it to one of the association’s Offices.

Alternatively an applicant can phone a member of staff at any of our offices to register their bid.

We will contact you if you have been successful with your bid to make arrangements for you to view the property you have chosen.
