Our 4 simple steps:
The way we let homes puts you in the driving seat and gives you more of a say in where you live and the type of house you live in. If you're interested in renting with us, here's what you'll need to do:
You need to complete a Housing Registration Form and send it to us. Pick one up at our housing office, call us on 0800 027 3456 or click on this link...Housing Registration Form (HRF). Please follow the guidance notes in the form. We'll then write to you with your Registration Number and Applicant Group.
We use a website called Home Finder to advertise our properties on a weekly basis. Here you can search for a home and note an interest in the ones you like, based on your Applicant Group. Our partner organisation GHA, also advertises homes on Home Finder and you will be able to look at these and note an interest in any you want to live in.
Remember, our Click & Connect centres provide free wifi and internet access. Click on Tenant Services to find your nearest centre.
When you find a property you like, you'll need to note an interest in it. The easiest way to do this is on Home Finder. You should note an interest before the weekly deadline of 8pm on a Monday.
If your application is successful we'll contact you as soon as possible. We'll also let you know if you have not been successful. You should continue to note an interest in properties.
If you become a Cube tenant you will be required to pay four weeks' rent in advance. If you are entitled to housing benefit, this will be taken into account.
If your home is considered to have more bedrooms than you need, and you are on housing benefit, you will be required to pay a proportion of the rent yourself.
Your home will be at risk if you do not keep up with your rent payments.
Residents help decide what groups of people should be given priority for a proportion of Cube's homes. Click on the link to find out more about the Community Housing Plan.
