We have an ongoing development programme of building new homes or refurbishing homes for rent or sale and also a programme of community regeneration initiatives.
We receive funding from Communities Scotland, Health Boards and Local Authorities to pay for these projects. In order to fully finance these programmes we will often top up the finance necessary by borrowing from banks and building societies or contribute from our own reserves.
New homes are provided for general needs, for single people, families and the elderly. We have an active programme to re-house people with special needs into the community.
Community projects include youth projects, community centres and nursery facilities.
The Association will often work in partnership with other housing associations, local authorities and voluntary organisations to build new homes and develop new initiatives.
