Report Antisocial Behaviour

WHATS IS ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR?

Anti-social behaviour can mean different things to different people. It can cover a wide range of behaviours from dog fouling to criminal damage to property. It happens when a person's actions are likely to cause alarm, distress, nuisance or annoyance to another person or damage to someone's property. It can include speaking threateningly or offensively.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

When you report an incident of antisocial behaviour to our Neighbourhood Services Team you will be issued with a unique reference number relating to this incident and we will confirm the officer dealing with your case.

Residents experiencing anti-social behaviour will be encouraged to work with our Neighbourhood Services Team and any partner agencies who can assist in resolving these matters. It is important that you keep a record of all events that have caused concern to you and that you report all the details of each incident. 

Your views will be taken into account when we decide on the appropriate course of action in each instance and you will be kept informed of our progress by the officer dealing with your case.

All incidents reported to our offices will be dealt with in a confidential manner and we will not disclose who has reported the incident to our Neighbourhood Officers.  We will require to seek corroboration to the incident reported to us, therefore , if a neighbour, visitor or friend is able to corroborate the disturbances you experience please seek their permission for our officers to contact them to discuss your joint concerns.
