  • 1.  Do you agree with the following ranking (from highest to lowest) of property types on the basis that the higher rankings should pay a higher level of rent?

1     Detached
2     Semi-Detached
3     Terrace House
4     Maisonettes
5     Cottage Flat (4 in a block)
6     Walk up Flat (in a close)
7     Multi Storey Flat (block with a lift)

  • 2.  If you do not agree with the above ranking, can you set out what you think the ranking should be? i.e. 2, 4, 5, 1 etc.

  • 3.  Should the age of the property be a factor in setting the rents?

  • 4.  Should Cube have different rents for similar properties in different areas, reflecting different levels of popularity amongst residents, e.g. should rent for a 1 bedroom flat be higher in Broomhill or Lennoxtown and lower for the same type of property in less popular areas?

    Can you explain your answer?
  • 5.   Some homes are more expensive than others to manage -

Do you think that services such as caretaking and landscaping services should be paid only by those tenants who receive them?

If not, why not? Please explain

Do you think that the higher costs associated with Multi Storey flats should be shared by all Cube tenants, including those who live in different types of property, to keep the charges for living in a flat lower?

      Can you explain your answer?
