Transformational Regeneration Areas (TRAs)
Transforming Communities: Glasgow (TC:G) is a strategic partnership which oversees the regeneration and development programme across Glasgow’s eight Transformational Regeneration Areas (TRAs).
The eight TRAs are:
TC:G provides new sustainable communities through new housing, community facilities, green space and, where appropriate, commercial units.
Each of the TRAs has a Local Delivery Group, made up of residents, councillors and other partners.
Cube is active in the Maryhill TRA.
Maryhill Locks phase 1 saw 35 affordable homes built in the summer of 2010.
In phase 2, 106 homes for social rent and 19 for shared equity were built by Maryhill Housing Association.
The original masterplan for the TRA is under review and will look at future housing options for the site adjacent to phase 2.
