Broomhill community to be transformed

Cube tenants in a Glasgow community will soon notice huge improvements to their area thanks a major regeneration project.

Tenants at 5, 10 and 25 Broomhill Lane told Cube they wanted to see improved car parking, a modern play area, new bin stores and upgraded areas around the blocks.

Work to carry out the investment in the neighbourhood is to begin in early November. It’s expected to be complete around March 2019.

Cube has already carried out improvements inside the homes including new heating, bathrooms and front doors and also external wall insulation, paintwork, new vinyl on the landings and also upgrades to the entrance foyers.

Tenants will have their chance to have their say on the plans ahead of work beginning.
