Tenants feeling the benefit of huge investment in homes

We've been working hard to improve homes and communities in Glasgow.

Cube spent well over £1million upgrading bathrooms in the low-rise and maisonette homes in Wyndford, with hundreds of tenants feeling the benefit.

The open space and areas around our homes in Wyndford is also looking cleaner and greener after Cube spent close to £2m on environmental improvements there.

We also carried out upgrades to bin stores across Wyndford, as well as nearby Collina Street, to the tune of almost £14,000.

Cube also refurbished bathrooms in 11 homes in Inverleith Street, Carntyne, Glasgow.

Meanwhile, in Broomhill, tenants in the high-rise blocks there are feeling the benefit of Cube’s huge investment work.

Common areas of the multi-storeys have been painted, and new lighting installed, at a combined cost of well over £1m.

Tenants are enjoying new-look landings there too, as well as refurbished foyers, after Cube spent £1,120,000 doing them up.

A total of 252 homes in Broomhill and Wyndford have new roof edges, after we spent more than £27,000 on the work.

We also carried out improvements costing £20,000 to common areas for 14 homes in Milton, as well as painting windows and doors on another 33 homes in the area, at a cost of £65,000.
