Cube laid on 100 free tickets and free transport from Dumbarton to Glasgow and back so folk could catch Cinderella at the SECC.

The panto, which featured comedy couple the Krankies, went down a treat with tenants and their families.

Tenant Alison Houston, from Haldane, pictured with daughter Chanise and niece Chloe, said: “It was great to get the tickets for the panto.

“It really helped us out as a family because it’s something we wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise.”

Fiona Callaghan, from Balloch, pictured with granddaughter Ilaria and Cube’s Jackie Anderson, added: “It was brilliant. Ilaria loved it so much she wanted to go on stage.

“Paying for the tickets and travel was a lovely gesture from Cube.”

Cube Director David MacKenzie said: “We were delighted to spread a bit of festive cheer at this time of year.”

The trip was funded by Cube's contractors Cruden, part of the community benefits from new Cube homes built by Cruden in Carrick Terrace, Dumbarton.
